A trip to Aston Villa follows the opening-day clash on Saturday 19 August before a home encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers seven days later completes the first month of the new term.

The Toffees host newly-promoted Luton Town for the first time in a league match for more than 31 years when the Hatters head to Goodison Park on the weekend of 30 September, with the return fixture at Kenilworth Road set for the weekend of 4 May.

The first Merseyside derby of the season — the 243rd overall — is set to be played at Anfield on the weekend of 21 October, with the Goodison return due to be played on the weekend of 16 March.

Everton’s festive itinerary sees three games packed into the space of seven days, with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur on 23 December, a home game against Manchester City on Boxing Day and a visit to Molineux to take on Wolves on 30 December.

Dyche faces former side Burnley at Turf Moor on 16 December, before hosting the Clarets on 6 April.

The Blues close their 2023/24 home campaign with the visit of Sheffield United before facing Arsenal at the Emirates on the final day.
