Everton Team News For Bournemouth Clash

Sean Dyche says defender Vitalii Mykolenko has a chance of being available for Sunday's season finale against Bournemouth at Goodison Park (4.30pm BST).

The Ukraine international has missed Everton's past two matches after picking up a groin injury ahead of the clash against Manchester City two weeks ago.

Forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin will miss Sunday's clash after being withdrawn in the first half against Wolves last week with a hamstring injury, as will Nathan Patterson who was also forced off before half-time at Molineux.

Asked about the duo in Friday's press conference held at Finch Farm, Dyche said: "They won’t be fit.

"We haven’t had Dom for two-thirds of my time here. We have still won games, still got points on the board and performed.

"We realised when he got injured in the first game that it wasn’t going to be a short injury. We knew we would have to find a way of working with that. We have found that way and it’s important we do that.

"Patto has come into the side more latterly and performed well. We lose him as well."

The news was more positive on Mykolenko, though, with Dyche explaining: "He’s a bit better so we will see how he reacts tomorrow to training today."

Ben Godfrey and Andros Townsend also remain unavailable, but loanee Conor Coady is again an option after missing last week's game at parent club Wolves.
