Everton Fan Advisory Board Application Window Open

The process to elect three new members to Everton's Fan Advisory Board (FAB) is under way.

An application window opened on Wednesday 24 May, with Evertonians having until 11.59pm on Sunday 11 June to put themselves forward for nomination.

Applicants are required to have had a supporter number as of 1 May 2023 and must submit a short biography and video outlining why they feel they are the right person to represent the Everton fanbase.

Once the application window closes, a shortlisting panel comprising two current serving FAB members, one representative of Everton Football Club, a local religious leader, and a local politician or business leader, will then review the nominations before determining a final list of candidates.

An online supporter vote will begin on Monday 19 June and run until Friday 30 June, with the FAB seeking to fill the following three positions:

• One Evertonian who is a registered Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) member
• One Evertonian representing a group with a protected characteristic as defined in the Equality Act of 2010
• One Evertonian with no further eligibility requirements

The shortlisting process will aim to ensure that each of the above criteria can be met by multiple candidates on the final ballot list.

Anyone with an Everton supporter number as of 1 May 2023 will be eligible to vote and will be asked to select their three preferred candidates. Each vote will carry equal weight and supporters will be able to allocate a maximum of one vote per candidate. More information on the voting process will be made available closer to the time of the election.

Once the vote has closed, the result will be independently verified by the Football Supporters’ Association before being announced on Everton and FAB channels.

The seat for the Football Supporters' Association representative is a reserved position and its holder will serve a one-year term. The remaining two positions are unreserved and those elected will serve three-year terms.

Once the election is complete, the FAB will comprise 11 members, as follows:
