Everton Team News For Brighton

Sean Dyche says Amadou Onana will be fit and available for Everton's Bank Holiday Monday clash at Brighton & Hove Albion (5.30pm BST).

The Belgium international was named on the bench for the Blues' 2-2 draw at Leicester City earlier this week having suffered with illness in the days leading up to the match but has since returned to full training.

On Seamus Coleman, who left the pitch on a stretcher following a heavy challenge at King Power Stadium, Dyche confirmed there was no damage to the right-back's anterior cruciate ligament but the captain did suffer a knee ligament injury that will require a spell on the sidelines.

The Everton manager says he "doubts" Coleman will return before the end of the season.

"It's still going to keep him out," said Dyche in his pre-match press conference. "It's still a ligament injury that needs sorting out, but it's not his ACL, which everyone feared. That's good news and good news for him."

Asked about a possible return before the end of the current campaign, he added: "I doubt it, I don't think so, no."

Ben Godfrey has also been ruled out of the trip to the Amex Stadium with a groin injury, having also missed the Leicester game.

"[Godfrey's] groin is still not right so he will take a bit of time," added Dyche.

Andros Townsend and Ruben Vinagre remain unavailable.
