Seamus Coleman has labelled his fellow defender Michael Keane as one of the best finishers in the Everton camp.

Quoted in the Daily Mail - taken from an interview with evertontv - the captain praised his teammate's technique.

"I think if you speak to lads around the training ground we always say Michael Keane is one of the best finishers at the Club," he said.

“It was an unbelievable goal from him. He has got serious technique. In the finishing drills, I'm not just saying it, but you do see similar goals [to the ones against Spurs] from him - he's got that much ability in front of goal. I'm delighted for him. Keano is a great lad, we all love him.

“[To come from behind again] shows that we're fighting. It shows the mentality is there and it shows the crowd how much we really want to fight for this football club. It's a point - that's all it is."

In other news, Everton are said to be leading the race to sign Southampton's former head of youth recruitment, Dan Rice.

This comes from a report from Football Insider who have tipped the Club to recruit the talent spotter, despite interest from Newcastle United to hire him.

Rice had worked at Southampton for two years before recently resigning from his role.
