Sorensen: Why Spurs Strike Meant So Much

Nicoline Sorensen says she could not be happier to have got back on the scoresheet on Sunday as Everton beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Walton Hall Park.

The Dane has been in impressive form since her return in December after a gruelling 14 months of rehab on the sidelines following an ACL rupture.

Since then she has been a star performer for Brian Sorensen's side and got a just reward for her efforts with a brilliant strike to put the Blues in front at the weekend after just four minutes.

You can hear her thoughts on her first goal of the campaign in the video at the top of this article or by clicking here.
