Defender Leonie Maier will leave Everton to join German club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim when her current contract expires at the end of June.

The 30-year-old Germany international moved to the Blues from Arsenal in July 2021, having previously spent six years at Bayern Munich.

Maier scored her first Everton goal in a 3-1 victory over Birmingham City in September 2021 and has made nine appearances in all competitions this season.
