Match-Worn Shirt Auction In Memory of Christian Atsu

Evertonians can now bid for signed match-worn shirts from the Premier League game at Chelsea, in memory of Christian Atsu.

Money raised from the auction will be used by Arms Around the Child - a charity for which former Everton and Chelsea player Christian was an ambassador - to fund the completion of a school the charity had started building in his native Ghana.

Last week, the funeral was held in Accra for Christian, who spent the 2014/15 season on loan at Everton and who tragically lost his life in the devastating earthquake that recently hit Turkey and neighbouring Syria.

The auction, which includes signed shirts from all the Everton players named in the squad at Stamford Bridge, is now open.

A separate auction is also under way for a signed Everton shirt, from Christian’s time with the Club.

Bids for this shirt can be made here.

NB: Highest current bids will be shown for each individual shirt.

The closing date for the auction, run in conjunction with matchwornshirt.com, is 2pm (BST) on Saturday 8 April.
