Everton have completed the signing of goalkeeper Eartha Cumings on an emergency loan.

The 23-year-old adds to Brian Sorensen’s goalkeeping options after Emily Ramsey sustained an ankle injury while on international duty with England last month.

A senior Scotland international, Cumings joins from Liverpool on a temporary basis. 

She moved to Merseyside last summer following two impressive seasons in the English Championship with Charlton Athletic.

Her record last term included nine clean sheets and a run of almost 15 hours without conceding a goal in all competitions.
