How To Meet Up With Other Blues When On Your Travels

If you’re travelling abroad in 2023 and want to watch the Blues from afar, why not take the time to meet up with fellow Evertonians from one of our many international supporters’ clubs?

Everton has more than 140 affiliated supporters’ clubs worldwide, with all continents - except for the obvious, Antarctica - represented.

Many of our supporters’ clubs have dedicated matchday venues, where members are keen to welcome travelling Evertonians.

Meet-ups offer the chance for fans to watch Everton fixtures, share stories, and enjoy a bite to eat and a drink or two.

So, if you’re having a weekend in Amsterdam, why not get in touch with the Netherlands Supporters’ Club?  They usually gather at Café Oporto, located close to the popular Royal Place tourist attraction.

On a family break to Orlando and wanting to take advantage of the time difference with morning kick-offs? Catch up with the members of Everton Orlando at the Harp and Celt Pub on Magnolia Avenue, a popular venue that hosted events during the pre-season Florida Cup tournament in 2021.

In fact, the United States is home to the biggest collection of international supporters’ clubs, with many of the US’s most well-known and most-visited cities having a venue for meet-ups. These include New York (Turnmill Bar), Washington DC (Across The Pond Bar), Miami (Lost Boy), Chicago (AJ Hudson’s Bar), Nashville (The Lost Paddy), San Francisco (McTeague’s Saloon), San Diego (The Harp) and LA (The Fox and Hounds), to name but a few.

If you’re heading for sunnier climbs in the Middle East, Dubai Evertonians gather at the lively McGettingan’s Bar in Souk Medinat Jumeirah, and there are supporters’ clubs in Cairo, Nag Hammadi, Alexandria and Hurghada in Egypt. Blues visiting Tel-Aviv can introduce themselves to the Israeli Toffees at ‘Mike’s Place’ on Retsif Herbert Samuel St.

For Evertonians exploring South-East Asia or heading Down Under, Singapore Everton Supporters’ Club gather at Café Football in Woodleigh Park, while the Perth Evertonians meet up on matchday at the Inglewood Hotel.

All of the official Everton supporters’ clubs are welcoming and appreciate Evertonians dropping in on matchday - with many of the venues not requiring any pre-booking.

Many of the supporters’ clubs are also represented on the new Everton Supporters’ Club Committees – which see members come together to represent specific geographical areas – the UK, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), The Americas and Asia-Pacific.
