Club Reiterates Zero-Tolerance Approach To Abuse And Discrimination

Everton Football Club would like to reiterate its zero-tolerance approach to all and any forms of harassment and discrimination.

The overwhelming majority of supporters act with respect towards one another at all times, but the Club is aware of several instances of fans discriminating against other Evertonians.

The abuse has included, but not been limited to, instances of racism, sexism and homophobia.

This behaviour is clearly unacceptable, whatever the platform or situation, and will not be tolerated.

Anyone attending a football match or respectfully voicing their opinion or viewpoint online has the right to feel safe, valued and included.

The Club encourages all supporters to play their part in ensuring this is the case and, where it is not, reporting incidents of abusive behaviour via the appropriate channels.

Online abuse should be reported in the first instance through the relevant platform’s reporting process.

If you witness any discriminatory or abusive behaviour during matches at Goodison Park, you can contact the Club via a dedicated text and email service.

Text HELP and your message to 84300, or email reportit@evertonfc.com

In your message, please include details of what you have witnessed and where. You will then be sent a text, or email, confirming your message has been received by our Stadium Safety Team.
