Options For Season Ticket Members Unable To Attend A Fixture

Season Ticket Members who are unable to attend a home Premier League match for any reason are reminded that there are now two platforms they can use to ensure their seat is not left empty.

Perhaps you’re working away for the weekend, have a family commitment, or have been affected by external factors if travelling from afar? We understand it is not always possible to get to Goodison Park, however much you may want to be there.

That's why we introduced the ticket resale and ticket transfer portals, with both platforms available to Season Ticket Members completely free of charge and to be used on unlimited occasions throughout the campaign.

What is the Ticket Resale Platform?

Season Ticket Members can list their seat for sale for any game as far in advance as they like. The ticket will then appear on the online Resale Platform at full general sale price as soon as the fixture in question goes on sale to Official Members.

If your ticket is purchased by another supporter, you will receive the pro-rata cost of your seat as credit in your ticketing account. The difference between the full general sale price for the fixture and the pro rata rate applied as credit will then be donated to Everton in the Community.

If your circumstances change - and your seat has not yet been purchased by another supporter - you can cancel your listing and still attend the fixture.

If a ticket is unsold on the morning of the game, the Season Ticket Member will be notified in case they are able to attend after all - or wish to transfer their ticket to a friend or family member instead (see below).

The Resale Platform can be accessed here. For further information on how the platform works, click here.

What is the Ticket Transfer Portal?

If a Season Ticket Member is unable to make a game, instead of listing their seat for sale via the Resale Platform, they can instead use the Ticket Transfer Portal to transfer their Season Ticket seat to someone on their friends and family list.

Through this option, no credit or money is exchanged. The platform instead generates a digital ticket to be sent to your friend or family member for the fixture in question, meaning you don't have to hand over your physical season card, risk it getting lost, or worry about getting it back in time for the next home game.

With this platform, supporters can also utilise a ‘call back’ option at any time to undo the transfer – something that cannot be done if the ticket has been sold to another supporter via the Resale Platform.

The Ticket Transfer Portal can be accessed here. To read a step-by-step guide on how it works, click here.

The transfer option is now active for our next four home league fixtures - Wolverhampton Wanderers (26 December), Brighton Hove & Albion (3 January), Southampton (14 January) and Arsenal (4 February).

Any further enquiries regarding either platform or ticketing in general can be directed to our Fan Centre. Find out how to contact them here.
