Everton Stadium has been spotlighted at an international sporting summit held in Portugal.
Vicky Jaycock, the Club’s Senior Manager for New Stadium Sales, was invited to participate at The Thinking Football Summit in Porto last weekend, alongside a group of football industry leaders.
During a panel discussion, Vicky was able to outline Everton’s future ambition to maximise revenues at Everton Stadium by making it a destination venue 365 days a year.
The summit also provided an opportunity for Vicky to address the audience on the inclusive and revolutionary ALL concept; a reset of traditional football hospitality that brings together all the bars, restaurants and experiences available for every fan at Everton Stadium.
She said: “It was a real privilege to be asked to speak at The Thinking Football Summit and share some insight with other industry professionals on how stadiums can generate activity all year round.
“We feel our ambitious vision to create a stadium for ALL at Everton Stadium provides a varied offering to the city of Liverpool and I was able to discuss the approach to research and consult with our fans and community through the one-of-a-kind ‘people’s project’.”
The gathering debated the professional football industry and promoted the corporate and business side of football in what is seen as a unique opportunity to strengthen ties with sponsors, partners, stakeholders, international guests and also the sports societies and main institutions of professional football.
Areas covered include fan engagement, technology, innovation, future challenges, sports management and marketing and sponsorship.
It also provides a forum for networking among some of the game’s elite professional clubs looking to share best practices.
