Jarrad Branthwaite could be on course for a loan spell in the English Championship, according to a report from the Liverpool Echo.

Rumours earlier this week claimed Everton are unhappy with the defender's playing time with PSV Eindhoven this season and could recall the 20-year-old back to Finch Farm earlier than planned.

The local outlet believes there is a recall clause in his contract which would allow the Club to bring him back to England, with a view to sending him to England's second-tier in search of regular minutes.
