Rumours in Tuesday's media suggest Everton are keen to secure Alex Iwobi's long-term future at the Club.

Africa-based outlet allnigeriasoccer.com reports that the 26-year-old has been offered a new five-year deal.

The Nigerian's current deal runs until the summer of 2024.

In other news, James Tarkowski has expressed his desire to add goals to his game in quotes published by the Liverpool Echo.

The interview - originally with evertontv - took place after Saturday's goalless draw to Fulham and the defender admitted his lack of goals this season has frustrated him.

"I need to add more goals to my game," he said.

"I feel in my own box I’m quite good at getting my head on things, so I need to start getting my head on the ball in the other box.

"I had a chance against Fulham but my header went straight down the goalkeeper’s throat. Hopefully, I can get some goals in the coming games."
