Evertonians Flock To Philly For Premier League Mornings Live

Hundreds of Evertonians turned out in Philadelphia to watch the Blues at the latest Premier League Mornings Live fan festival, hosted by NBC.

Toffees from the host city, New Jersey, New York and across the States flocked to Philly's Dilworth Park to watch Everton's game against Tottenham Hotspur and meet former Blues Tim Howard and Graham Stuart.

Howard, a regular fixture of NBC's Premier League coverage, is part of the presentation team hosting nine games across the weekend, while 1995 FA Cup winner Stuart was on stage and live across NBC's network to give his thoughts in the build-up to the clash in north London.

With the game being in the prime-time slot of 12.30pm Eastern time (5.30pm BST), the fan park outside Philadelphia's City Hall was awash with Everton shirts, scarves and flags, with fans coming together to celebrate their love of the Blues.

Fans later joined Stuart at O'Neals Pub, the home of the Philadelphia Evertonians - one of 38 affiliated Everton supporters' clubs now meeting regularly across the States.

"Saturday's game was always going to be tough - Tottenham have won every game they've played at home this season - but the defeat didn't take away from what was a fantastic event here in Philadelphia," said Stuart.

"I was bumping into Evertonians everywhere I turned inside the fan park and they were so passionate about the Club. They were genuinely excited to be here, meeting other Blues and sharing the experience together."

Everton covered Saturday's event via its dedicated US social media channels @EvertonInUSA on Instagram and Twitter. It's not too late to take a look at photos, videos and more from Philadelphia or to join in the conversation.

The Premier League Mornings Live festival is the seventh to be hosted by NBC and the Premier League, with Everton having previously had a presence at events in cities including Miami, Austin, Los Angeles and Boston.
