Everton To Join Premier League And NBC In Philadelphia

Everton's 1995 FA Cup winner Graham Stuart will be meeting Blues in Philadelphia next weekend when he crosses the Atlantic to take part in NBC's latest Premier League Mornings Live fan festival

Thousands of US-based soccer fans will flock to Philadelphia's Dilworth Park for the two-day event, which will feature screenings of nine Premier League fixtures including Everton's trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 15 October (5.30pm BST/12.30pm ET).

Stuart, who also represented Chelsea, Charlton Athletic and Norwich City in the top-flight, will join the likes of Alan Shearer, Ian Wright, Ben Foster and Carlton Cole at the event, while ex-Everton and US men's national team goalkeeper Tim Howard will be part of NBC's punditry team for the weekend.

Stuart will be on-stage ahead of the clash with Spurs and is also set to join Evertonians at a fan event to be held at the regular meeting place of the Philadelphia Evertonians affiliated supporters' club on the eve of that contest.

Blues are being invited to head to O'Neals Pub (611 S 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19147) from 7pm ET, where Stuart will be meeting fans, sharing tales from his time with the Toffees, reflecting on the season so far and looking ahead to the following day's action.

And with a weekend of activity planned, Evertonians based anywhere in the US - and across the globe - are encouraged to join in the conversation through the Club's dedicated US channels - @EvertonInUSA on Instagram and Twitter.

Everton ambassador Stuart said: "It's a pleasure meeting our fans out in the States or when they come across for games at Goodison because you always feel the passion and enthusiasm they have for the Club.

"The Premier League Mornings Live fan festivals are great events and I know the Toffees will be out in force trying to turn Dilworth Park blue for our game, especially with it being one of the prime-time matches.

"I can't wait to get out there and see everyone.”

Rich Ballezzi, chair of the Philadelphia Evertonians, said: "We're really excited Graham and Everton are coming over for Premier League Mornings Live and to visit us at O’Neals.

"There's already a great buzz around the city that the event is coming here to Philadelphia and our members are excited to have an entire weekend dedicated to Everton.

"I would encourage any Blues from across the States heading to Philly to come and join us as everyone is welcome!"

Next weekend's fan festival is the seventh Premier League Mornings Live event to be presented by NBC Sports and the Premier League - and the first to be held in Philadelphia.

Everton have previously had a presence at events in cities including Miami, Austin, Los Angeles and Boston, and next weekend's trip will build on recent pre-season visits to Orlando, Washington DC and Minnesota.

Scott McLeod, Everton's Director of Communications & Engagement, said: "The Premier League Mornings Live events have been a fantastic way for us to engage in person with our loyal and passionate US-based supporters and to take Everton to states and cities across the country.
