Everton's Premier League Primary Stars programme welcomed goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and the NFL's Minnesota Vikings for a PE lesson to remember at Willow Tree Primary School in Huyton.

Cheerleaders from the Vikings' cheerleading squad led a one-off dance lesson ahead of the team's clash against the New Orleans Saints this weekend at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Meanwhile, gridiron-enthusiast Begovic and mascot Viktor the Viking hosted a throwing and catching session to participants from Everton in the Community's Primary Stars initiative.

And, as well as playing witness to a dance recital, Begovic experienced Everton in the Community's award-winning delivery in action for the first time, with Willow Tree one of 61 schools Everton in the Community delivers the Primary Stars programme in across Merseyside.

Launched in 2017, Premier League Primary Stars aims to inspire girls and boys and aged five to 11 by promoting positive messages and fun educational sessions covering a range of core subjects in the curriculum.
