Transfer rumours in Friday's media suggest Juventus looked to backtrack on their obligation to buy Everton forward Moise Kean.

The Italian striker is on a two-year loan with the Serie A side, with the Old Lady expected to pay £34million at the end of the current season.

According to CalcioMercato, Juventus and Kean have attempted to wriggle out of the agreement in the summer by moving him on to another club, but no suitor was prepared to pay the reported fee.

Finally, Sky Sports spoke to manager Brian Sorensen following Everton's 1-0 win over Leicester City in the Barclays Women's Super League last night.

The Blues boss stated his team need to be better, but was happy with the character shown to get a late winner against the Foxes.

"Happy with the three points," he told the broadcaster. "Performance wise, at half time, I wasn't happy with the energy we put into the game. We were giving the ball away a bit too much.

"The last 15-20 minutes we started to put pressure on and that's what we need to do from minute No 1. I also said before the game that Leicester are a really good team.

"I still think we should do better. Lucky with the goal at the end but we did have opportunities to score. We're just happy that we got it over the line in the end.

"We need to show stability in every game. A big test coming up here against Chelsea next time. If we can be in that game for 90 minutes, that's where we want to be."
