A group of young Evertonians whose celebrations following the Blues’ 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace at the end of last season went viral on social media received a surprise visit from two Toffees stars recently.
The pupils from St Gregory’s Primary were on a school trip when informed by a teacher that Everton had completed an incredible comeback win at Goodison Park, sparking joyous scenes among the passionate Blues in the group.
As a reward for their support, Everton duo Anthony Gordon and Tom Davies visited the youngsters at St Gregory’s as part of a Schools Supporters’ Club event.
The Blues pair were joined by representatives from the Club’s official charity, Everton in the Community, and enthusiastically joined in a session with the thrilled pupils which focused on the importance of teamwork and being a good teammate.
