Shareholders' Association Visit Everton Stadium

Members of the Everton Shareholders' Association had a glimpse into the future with a visit to Everton Stadium.

Fourteen of the association were given a tour of the site on Tuesday, where they traversed the rear of the towering south stand and took in the dramatic view from the top of the south west core.

Among the latest developments witnessed was the ongoing installation of the terracing units in the north and south stands, and the fast-developing concrete builds of the east and west stands.

SHAREHOLDERS' ASSOCIATION VISIT EVERTON STADIUM

Members of the Everton Shareholders' Association had a glimpse into the future with a visit to Everton Stadium.

Members also toured the pitch area, which currently houses two temporary installations in preparation for the assembly of two huge roof trusses later this year.John Blain, Chairman of the Everton Shareholders' Association, said: "It's just brilliant! The first impression, when you see it, is the grand scale of it.

"It's very impressive and the speed of the build is incredible. At the first shareholders' visit back in January, none of this was here, and now here we are with the terracing going in.

"You can't express it really and you just have to be here to see it. Excitement is the word, as it just blows your mind."
