James Garner vowed to add quality, energy and aggression to Everton's midfield after becoming the Blues' eighth signing of the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who was a key figure in helping Nottingham Forest achieve promotion to the top flight for the first time this century last season, has signed a four-year deal at Goodison Park after sealing his move from Manchester United.
