Everton have been drawn away to AFC Bournemouth in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

The Blues were ball number 12 in Wednesday night's draw and were paired with the Premier League newcomers.

The tie at the Vitality Stadium will be played the week commencing 7 November, with the date, kick-off time and ticket details for the fixture to be announced on Everton's digital channels in due course.

Frank Lampard's Blues progressed to the third round of the competition after winning 1-0 away at Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night courtesy of Demarai Gray's first-half winner.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth edged Norwich City 5-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw at Carrow Road.
