WATCH: Everton Stadium North Stand Bolts Up

Steelwork finally runs the entire length of the North Stand at Everton Stadium, just 12 weeks after the first super-column was bolted into place.

The two separate sections, which have steadily grown since late May, have been conjoined as the bowl of the stadium continues to form.

Concrete terracing units now fill one block of the north west corner, with units also being dropped into the south stand.

Dan Meis, Stadium Concept Design Guardian, was this week given a tour of the site, where he stood in the south stand concourse and witnessed the jaw-dropping city vista that fans will eventually drink in from the fully-glazed area.

The concrete builds in the east and west stands are also picking up pace, with the west stand now emerging on the second level as supporting walls are slotted into place.

Meanwhile, the supporting walls continue to spread beneath the two tower cranes at the north and south ends of the east stand.
