The future of Everton's Anthony Gordon dominates Monday's headlines.

Sky Sports News claims Everton have rejected a bid worth up to £42million from Chelsea for the Academy graduate, but believe the London side will continue their pursuit for the 21-year-old.

Renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea could try to include players in a deal for Gordon with manager Frank Lampard interested in more than one Chelsea player this summer.

In other transfer news, The Telegraph reports that Southampton's Che Adams remains at the top of the list for transfer targets as the Blues search for a new forward.

The Club are expected to "ramp up" their pursuit this week.

Reports in the past have claimed the Saints are reluctant to sell the Scotland international this summer.

Finally, rumoured Blues target James Garner could be allowed to leave Manchester United on a permanent basis this transfer window, according to The Athletic.

The 21-year-old was part of the Nottingham Forest side who won promotion back to the Premier League whilst on loan last season.

His parent club are prepared to sanction a sale for the midfielder and value him in the region of £14million.
