Mason Holgate insists a more robust Everton will prove their strength over the course of the Premier League campaign.
Frank Lampard's side lost 2-1 at Aston Villa on Saturday, seven days after a similarly narrow defeat by Chelsea.
Defender Holgate, who began the meeting with Villa after being introduced in the opening half against Chelsea, was inevitably frustrated over leaving the Midlands empty handed following an Everton performance that featured plenty of reasons for encouragement.
The 25-year-old didn't hide from the requirement to convert competitive displays into positive results – but remains confident his side are on the cusp of truly clicking and putting points on the board.
