New Everton Kit A Global Hit

Everton’s new hummel home kit is proving to be a big hit with supporters around the world.

The royal blue kit - which features a pattern detailing a modern interpretation of the iconic Prince Rupert’s Tower – has registered more than 35 per cent increase in sales, compared to the previous year.

Sales across the first three days, following its launch at the start of July, were up more than 140 per cent on last year, with strong overseas sales contributing to the growth.

Supporting the Club’s international strategy, sales were particularly strong across the United States of America, Australia and Ireland.

Growth has also been seen in other countries including New Zealand, Spain, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.

Richard Kenyon, Director of Communications, Revenue and International Growth, said: “We are really pleased with the sales of our new home kit so far and particularly with the increase in international sales. 

“We’d like to thank our partners hummel and Fanatics for their work on making our first kit launch of the summer such a success, but most importantly our fans for once again demonstrating their incredible support for their Club.”
