Everton defender Ryan Astley has completed a loan move to Accrington Stanley and will spend 2022/23 with the League One club.
The Wales youth international, who primarily operates as a centre-half but is also comfortable at full-back, captained the Blues’ Under-23s side last season.
He will now continue his development under John Coleman with the Lancashire outfit.
Astley made his debut for Everton's Under-23s in March 2018 at just 16-years-old and claimed the Club's Under-23 Player of the Season honour in 2021/22, as well as being named in the First-Team matchday squad for a Premier League victory over Southampton.
The 20-year-old, who is contracted to Goodison Park until the summer of 2023, joins an Accrington side that finished 12th in the third tier last term.
