Frank Lampard has promised to take Everton's "strongest possible squad" to Australia, as tickets for the Sydney Super Cup today go on sale to Evertonians.
The inaugural tournament, which will see the Blues take on Scottish champions Celtic and A-League outfit Western Sydney Wanderers, is set to take place between 20-23 November, as the Premier League takes a mid-season break for the World Cup finals in Qatar.
Everton boss Lampard is relishing the prospect of taking part - and fully believes in the benefits of participation both on and off the pitch, as Australian supporters get the chance to watch Everton on their turf for the first time since 2010.
"I’m really looking forward to it," said Lampard. "Australia is somewhere I have never actually been, so on a very personal level, I’m excited at the prospect of coming over.
"Having met quite a few Aussies over here, and being so familiar with the sporting culture over there, it is a country I’ve always wanted to visit... And Sydney is one of the most recognisable cities in the world!
"We'll absolutely be taking the strongest possible squad with us. Other than the players that will be on duty at the World Cup, we will be at full strength.
"The players were excited about the prospect of the tour when I told them.
"Such a long mid-season break is new for us all. It is something we are looking forward to, but it is equally a new challenge to make sure the players maintain their levels of fitness and performance for the return of the season at the end of December.
"Being able to play top opposition in an exciting and different environment - and also enjoy an Australian summer - will be a big plus in terms of keeping the squad at the level we need."
Supporters can now purchase tickets in the dedicated Everton Active Supporters’ areas of both stadiums.
Fans are advised to purchase their tickets early before these seats are released for general sale.
Evertonians attending the game against Celtic at the Accor Stadium can purchase tickets in block 141, 142 and 143.

An Everton section will also be in place at the CommBank Stadium with supporters guided to purchase tickets in blocks 104, 105 and 106.
