Izzy Christiansen is confident new Everton manager Brian Sorensen can help bring a culture of stability and a winning mentality to the Club.

The Danish boss will begin to work with the squad in the coming weeks, with Christiansen left impressed by the conversations she has had with the women's manager so far.

"What I really like about him from my first impression is that he's a humble guy," she told evertontv.

"He has no shame asking questions - he's the leader of our pack now.

"He's been brought into this Club for a reason. I know there was a really methodical process in place to appoint Brian.

"His cultural drive will be really important for the team - we're all really looking forward to working with him."
