A fan event to launch Everton’s pre-season in the Unites States of America has sold out with hours of tickets going on sale.
‘An Evening with Frank Lampard and Everton Football Club, Presented by Men in Blazers’, takes place at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC on Thursday 14 July (7.30pm ET).
Tickets for the event, hosted by the popular US television show and podcast, were snapped up within hours of being released.
The show will see presenter and Evertonian Roger Bennett joined on stage by Frank Lampard and members of his First-Team squad to discuss their careers, connecting with fans stateside during pre-season, the hopes for the campaign ahead, and more.
Everton will play the first of two US pre-season fixtures 48 hours later on Saturday 16 July (7pm ET/Sunday 17 July, 12am BST) when they face Premier League rivals Arsenal at the M&T Bank Stadium - home of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. The Blues will then travel to Minneapolis to take on MLS side Minnesota United at Allianz Field on Wednesday 20 July (kick-off 7pm CT, Thursday 21 July, 1am BST).

Everton’s collaboration with Men in Blazers is part of a series of engagement events and activities for Everton supporters in Baltimore, Washington and Minneapolis. The Club has been working alongside supporter groups in the US and UK with more events due to be confirmed and communicated in the coming weeks.
