Everton's Izzy Christiansen sat down for an open discussion with talented FC Highland midfielder Dempsey Brown ahead of the American teenager's training camp with the Blues.

The pair reflected on their journeys in football to date and how the women's game has evolved over the past decade, with Christiansen's wealth of experience offering insight on what is required to compete at the highest level.

The opportunity for Brown to train with Everton's Academy was made possible thanks to a recent partnership with FC Highland. 

A thriving youth soccer academy in Florida, FC Highland is one of the latest clubs to join Everton’s International Academy Affiliate Programme (EIAAP), with the two clubs working together on curriculum sharing, player development and coach education, among other ventures.
