The Liverpool Echo draws quotes from an interview with ex-Everton defender Sylvain Distin, originally released on evertonfc.com.

In the Club's interview with the Frenchman, he discusses the impact Evertonians can have in propelling Frank Lampard's side higher up the table next season with their passionate support.

“I hope that they (the fans) are going to realise the power they have got," Distin told the Official Everton Podcast.

“I’m pretty sure that now they realise if they all push behind and all be fantastic as they’ve done, they can change a lot.

"It’s a tough moment because that’s when Everton were at the bottom but if Everton is at the top and they pushed the same way, I hope they realise what Everton could achieve as well because it’s an amazing strength, it was fantastic to see.”

Keeping with the Echo, the local outlet speculates Everton are set to move quickly on to other transfer targets after reportedly securing the services of defender James Tarkowski.

Reporter Adam Jones wrote: “Frank Lampard and Kevin Thelwell will be well aware that numerous positions need an injection of quality over the coming weeks.”

One of those arrivals could be Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Winks.

A report from Football Insider claims the Blues have made an approach for the midfielder, with the North London side willing to part ways with their academy graduate according to a source.

Spurs reportedly are looking for a fee in the region of £20million for the England international.

Winks' teammate Lucas Moura could also be on his way to Goodison Park.

The Telegraph reports that Antonio Conte's side would be willing to let both Winks and Moura depart for the Blue side of Merseyside, if it meant Richarlison transferred in the opposite direction.

Finally, 90min claims that Everton have reignited their interest in Burnley winger Dwight McNeil.

The 22-year-old was linked to a move to the Club last summer, before remaining at Turf Moor for the season.

It is expected that the Blues will face competition from Newcastle United, Fulham, Spurs, Brentford and West Ham United for McNeil's services.
