Cazoo Donates £90,000 To EitC Mental Health Initiatives

Goals For Good campaign supports official charity.

Cazoo has donated a bumper total of £90,000 to Everton in the Community (EitC) to support two of the charity's mental health programmes.

Since becoming Everton’s main partner at the start of the 2020/21 season, Cazoo, Europe’s leading online car retailer, has given £1,000 to EitC every time the Blues have scored a Premier League goal through its Goals For Good initiative.

Everton's 43 goals in 2021/22 meant £43,000 was donated by Cazoo - taking the overall total to £90,000 - which will be channelled towards two EitC mental health programmes, Imagine Your Goals and Girls on Side.

Girls on Side is a women’s-only mental wellbeing programme which support participants’ social, physical and mental health and wellbeing as well as aid on-going recovery.

Launched in 2007 in partnership with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, Imagine Your Goals uses football as a therapeutic tool to support individual’s physical, mental, emotional and social health and wellbeing.

To celebrate the campaign, Imagine Your Goals participants visited Everton's Finch Farm training base where Frank Lampard and a number of First-Team players including captain Seamus Coleman experienced the first-hand impact of the programme.
