The deadline is tonight to vote to elect new members to the Everton Fans’ Forum.

Anyone with an Everton supporter number is eligible to vote and can choose the three candidates they would like to see join the Forum from a shortlist of nine - but you'll need to be quick to have your say!

The voting period runs until 11.59pm BST tonight, with an announcement of the three successful candidates to be made on evertonfc.com in the following days.

Evertonians were given the opportunity to apply to join the Everton Fans' Forum during an application window in May, with Forum members interviewing candidates in early June to establish the final shortlist of nine.

Tony Sampson, who assumed the role of Chair of the Everton Fans’ Forum last month, said: “The standard of applications has been excellent this year and, as a Forum, it’s been really encouraging to see Evertonians step forward and be willing to work with and represent their fellow Blues.

“We’ve seen the powerful impact that building networks of Blues to work together on issues can have, whether that be in creating a better matchday atmosphere, tackling discrimination or building our international supporter base.

“As a Forum, we’re pleased to introduce the final nine candidates from this year’s recruitment process, and I hope that as many Evertonians as possible take the opportunity to vote for the person that best represents them.

“I’m confident that any of the candidates would add value and wish them all the best for the vote.”

About the Everton Fans’ Forum

The Everton Fans’ Forum convenes as a full group monthly, acting as a touchpoint between the Club and the wider fanbase to deliver feedback and ideas.

Each Forum member serves a three-year term.

The Forum worked closely with the Club and a number of other fan groups to coordinate and promote the coach greets that took place outside Goodison Park towards the end of the 2021/22 season, as well as activity and initiatives inside the stadium to help boost the pre-match atmosphere.

Forum working groups have an influence in areas including retail, sustainability, stadium atmosphere, international supporter engagement, in-stadium catering, the new stadium offering and the Goodison Legacy Project.

In 2021/22, the Forum launched the Evertonians Against Hate campaign to tackle all forms of discrimination and prejudice in the game and instigated Everton becoming the first Premier League club to commit its support to Her Game Too.

Since 2020, the Forum has had an international presence to represent the views of the Club’s growing global fanbase and played a leading role in the development of the international supporters’ network, with Sampson recently becoming the first Evertonian based outside the UK to take up the role of Fans' Forum Chair.

As one of the groups making up the Everton Stakeholder Steering Group (ESSG), the Fans' Forum will have a nominated representative on the soon-to-launch Everton Fan Advisory Board.
