Fans To Line Streets For Everton Players' Arrival

Everton supporters’ groups, including the Everton Fans’ Forum, will once again stage a welcoming committee to greet the players as the team coach arrives at Goodison Park on Sunday.

The Blues take on Brentford in a crucial sold-out Premier League clash (kick-off 4.30pm BST) with fans lining the final stretch of the players’ journey.

Following the incredible scenes ahead of Everton’s 1-0 home victory over Chelsea earlier this month, supporters have asked fellow fans to attend from 2.30pm and support the team’s arrival as the coaches pass through City Road and on to Goodison Road.

The campaign asks fans to start lining up on City Road to ensure everyone gets a view of the coach and encourages fellow Blues to ‘bring your banners, bring your flags and bring your noise’.

Supporters’ groups have also been working alongside the Club’s Fan Engagement team to devise a range of banners which will make their debut before kick-off in the Howard Kendall Gwladys Street this weekend.

For more information and to stay up to date on the coach welcome, please follow the Everton Fans’ Forum twitter account @EFC_FansForum.

All supporters attending the match at Goodison Park are reminded that smoke bombs and or flares are not permissible inside the stadium.

Spot checks will be taking place at turnstiles on entry to the stadium and any smoke bombs or flares found will be confiscated. Any supporter caught with such items inside the stadium runs the risk of arrest and a subsequent stadium ban.
