Matchday Guide: Everton v Brentford

Here's everything you need to know ahead of attending Sunday’s Premier League game against Brentford at Goodison Park (4.30pm kick-off).

PLAYER ARRIVALS

The Everton Fans’ Forum are again staging a welcoming committee to greet the players as the team coach arrives at Goodison on Sunday.

They ask anyone wishing to attend to meet from 2.30pm on Goodison Road and City Road.

Fans are asked to ‘Bring your banners, bring your flags and bring your noise’.

For more information, follow the Twitter account @EFC_FansForum.

PYROTECHNICS

We respectfully remind supporters that smoke bombs and/or flares are not permitted inside Goodison Park.

Under strict stadium guidelines, all pyrotechnics are prohibited and supporters are advised that spot checks will take place at turnstiles and any such items will be confiscated.

Fans also run the risk of arrest and a subsequent stadium ban for possession of a pyrotechnic inside a football stadium.

SUPPORTERS CODE OF CONDUCT

Supporters are also reminded of the code of conduct inside the stadium.

Everton Football Club has a zero-tolerance approach to all incidents of disorder and discrimination - and we strongly remind everyone that it is a criminal offence under the Football (Offences) Act 1991 to enter the pitch and to throw items inside the stadium.

This not only disrupts the match, but is also deemed to be a serious security risk to all players, officials and everyone in the stadium.

We remind supporters that all perpetrators of public order offences, which includes pitch encroachment, the throwing of objects and racist or discriminatory behaviour (see more, below), will receive lengthy stadium bans, potential Police investigation and further possible legal sanctions.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Supporters are advised that there are no longer COVID measures or spot checks in place. However, we still encourage fans to take a lateral flow test before attending games, to protect yourself and other supporters.

HOW TO REPORT DISCRIMINATORY BEHAVIOUR

Everton has a dedicated text number for fans to report any discriminatory or abusive behaviour they witness during matches at Goodison Park.

If you see or hear something, report it to our Stadium Safety Team immediately by texting HELP and your message to 84300, or email reportit@evertonfc.com. In your message, please include details of what you have witnessed and where.

You will be sent a text, or email confirming your message has been received by our Stadium Safety Team.

FOODBANK DONATIONS

A group of foodbank volunteers and their unmissable purple vehicle will be based on the corner of Winslow Street and Goodison Road, next to The Winslow Hotel public house.
