Everton Boss Gives Team News Update

Everton manager Frank Lampard has revealed Yerry Mina will miss Wednesday’s clash at Watford with a “small calf injury” but Vitalii Mykolenko is available for the game.

The Blues boss added Mina is not expected to be fit for the Blues’ matches against Brentford on Sunday and Crystal Palace on 19 May, with the Club “looking towards” the final game of the season at Arsenal as a potential return for the Colombian.

Mykolenko came off in Sunday's 2-1 win at Leicester with cramp - having scored a stunning opener - but is fit and available for the trip to Vicarage Road.

Donny van de Beek (groin) and Ben Godfrey (quadriceps) are not ready to feature at Watford but could be back in the matchday squad for the Brentford encounter.

Nathan Patterson (ankle) and Andros Townsend (ACL) are out for the remainder of the season.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference at Finch Farm, Lampard said. “Myko is good. He had cramp in his calves, but he will be good.

“Yerry has got a small injury in his calf, so he won’t be playing in this game. We’re probably looking towards the last match of the season, which Yerry could be in contention for.

“Donny is not ready [for the Watford game]. We’re hoping he will be ready for next week’s games and potentially the weekend.

“With Ben, it’s similar. Ben is working with every ounce of sweat to be fit and to take part in the run-in, and that’s the sort of attitude we need.”
