It’s a double header for Everton's young sides on Friday, with both the Under-23s and Under-18s set for action.
Up first is Paul Tait’s side who welcome Middlesborough to Finch Farm in the Under-18 Premier League at 4pm (GMT).
The Under-18s were narrowly defeated 1-0 in their last outing against Manchester City, having kept the in-form hosts at bay for the majority of the contest.
They will be hoping to bounce back against a Middlesbrough side that has registered two wins from their past five outings.
The Under-23s, meanwhile, face a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United at 7pm (GMT).
David Unsworth’s players will look to make amends for their defeat against Brighton suffered on the road last week.
They face a United side who head into Friday’s encounter off the back of a 3-0 defeat away to Leeds United.
It was a closely-fought match when the clubs faced one another earlier in the Premier League 2 campaign, with Anthony Elanga's early strike decisive on the night.
