Everton will take on Crystal Palace in FA Cup quarter-final clash at Selhurst Park after the Blues secured their progress in the competition with a 2-0 victory over Boreham Wood on Thursday night.

Salomon Rondon scored a second-half brace as Everton overcame the resolute National League outfit.

The quarter-final draw was made prior to kick-off at Goodison Park, with the Palace against Everton or Boreham Wood tie first out of the hat.

Patrick Vieira's Palace beat Championship Stoke City to advance to the last eight following victories over Millwall and Hartlepool United earlier in the competition.

The quarter-final ties are scheduled for the weekend of 19/20 March, when Everton are currently pencilled in for a Premier League game at Watford.
