Lampard Names Everton XI For Cup Tie

Vitalii Mykolenko captains Everton and there is a debut for Nathan Patterson, as Frank Lampard makes six changes for Thursday's FA Cup fifth-round encounter with Boreham Wood.

Salomon Rondon starts for the first time under manager Lampard, while Andros Townsend, Asmir Begovic and Jarrad Branthwaite all begin the Goodison Park clash.

Abdoulaye Doucoure is poised for his 50th Everton start and fellow midfielder Allan makes his 50th appearance for the Club.

Rondon, then, starts up front and is supported by forwards Anthony Gordon and Townsend.

Begovic in goal is handed a first start since the round three victory at Hull City.

Defenders Mykolenko and Patterson, both signed in January, Branthwaite, Michael Keane and Jonjoe Kenny are all in the starting XI, with Doucoure and Allan occupying Everton's engine room.

Richarlison, Alex Iwobi, Mason Holgate, Seamus Coleman and goalkeeper Andy Lonergan are the senior figures on the bench.

Lampard, meanwhile, includes the youthful quartet of Isaac Price, Reece Welch, Ryan Astley and Lewis Dobbin among his substitutes.
