Media outlets continue to reflect on Satuday's pulsating win over Leeds United.

Garth Crooks included Seamus Coleman and Michael Keane in his BBC Sport Team of the Weekend.

The Republic of Ireland international, in particular, was a standout performer for Crooks who hailed the Everton captain's commitment.

“One player who never seems to struggle under any regime is Coleman,” Crooks said.

“He gives his all, every time I see him perform for club or country.

“Against Leeds, his enthusiasm was as infectious as ever, while his performance seemed to set the tone for an impressive victory."

Another man who was terrific on Saturday was Donny van de Beek.

Speaking on BBC's Match of the Day, former Premier League midfielder Jermaine Jenas spoke of the Dutchman's influence over the weekend and argued that he must remain in the side for the coming games.

"Donny van de Beek - brilliant. Stays in the team, has to stay in the team," he said.

The Liverpool Echo publishes quotes from Frank Lampard's post-match press conference.

The Blues boss was delighted with his side's performance on Saturday, especially in the final third.

He hopes Everton can continue to impress going forward, but was adamant the hard work is far from over.

"I want the fans to have a team that are creating chances, crossing, having shots. That's the sort of football I want to watch," Lampard said.

"Again we've got work to do to get to exactly where we want, this is one performance. But if we can replicate that and keep working in the right direction, we'll hopefully have more days like this."

Finally, Everton are rumoured to be readying an offer to make Steve Hitchen the Club's new Director of Football, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Hitchen recently left his role as Director of Technical Performance at Tottenham Hotspur.
