Lampard Makes Two Changes For Newcastle Clash

Yerry Mina and Andros Townsend both start for Everton's clash with Newcastle United at St James' Park, as manager Frank Lampard makes two enforced changes from the team that recorded a 4-1 FA Cup victory over Brentford.

Ben Godfrey and Vitalii Mykolenko are the pair to miss out.

January deadline day recruits Dele and Donny van de Beek are named on the bench, along with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who returns following a minor knock.

Jordan Pickford continues in goal, with boss Lampard likely to stick with the 3-4-3 formation that brought success against the Bees at the weekend.

Mina, Michael Keane and Mason Holgate make up the trio of defenders, flanked by wing-backs Townsend and captain Seamus Coleman.

AndrΓ© Gomes continues in midfield following a man-of-the-match display at Goodison Park three days ago, alongside Allan.

Richarlison, Anthony Gordon and Demarai Gray occupy the three attacking positions.

Lampard has named a strong substitutes' bench, with Asmir Begovic, Jonjoe Kenny, Nathan Patterson, Alex Iwobi, Jarrad Branthwaite and Anwar El Ghazi also options.
