COVID GUIDELINES

Ahead of your visit to St James’ Park, please ensure that you have read their Supporter Code of Conduct. By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to follow this Code of Conduct at all times. Click here for more information.

Supporters are advised that following the removal of the Government’s Plan B restrictions, there are no longer COVID measures or spot-checks in place.

Fans are therefore no longer required to provide evidence of their COVID status in order to gain entrance.

However, we encourage fans to take a lateral flow test before attending games in order to protect yourself and fellow supporters.

We also strongly advise all supporters aged 11 or over, in line with Government advice, to bring a face-covering to wear in all indoor areas and while on the stadium concourse, other than when eating or drinking, or if exempt.

Please also be mindful that players and management are required to remain under matchday COVID regulations and are not able to stop for autographs and photographs before or after the game.

Public Transport

Park and Ride: There are no unreserved public car parks on event days at St. James’ Park and traffic restrictions may be in place.

It is recommended to use public transport to reach the stadium. Newcastle operates a park and ride system from two sites close to the A1 motorway – from Newcastle Great Park (close to the Newcastle Racecourse) and the MetroCentre; one of Europe’s biggest shopping centres. For directions, timetables and additional information, please visit www.gonortheast.co.uk/nufcbuses.

Metro: Newcastle upon Tyne is served by the Tyne & Wear Metro system, a light rail network with frequent services between Newcastle Airport, Newcastle city centre, the coast, and major transport interchanges and destinations south to Wearside. Newcastle United recommend St. James’ Metro station for local coastal destinations, while Monument station – a five-minute walk away – is served by both yellow and green line routes towards Newcastle International Airport, South Shields and the coast. For more information, visit www.nexus.org.uk/metro.

Train: Situated on the East Coast Mainline, Newcastle Central Station is a principle stop for services between London and Edinburgh/Glasgow. In addition to regional services, it also offers direct cross-country routes to and from Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool Birmingham and Bristol. The station is a ten-minute walk from St. James’ Park, walk west along Neville Street (A186) and turn right onto St. James’ Boulevard. The stadium is located at the top of the road and will become visible as you reach the junction with Bath Lane/Wellington Street. To plan your train journey, visit www.nationalrail.co.uk.

FAN BEHAVIOUR AND SAFTEY ANNOUNCEMENT

Anti-Discrimination: Everton Football Club has a zero-tolerance stance on any discriminatory behaviour and language used to travel to, from or during the match. We are committed and dedicated to embracing equality and diversity in everything that we do. Reminding you about the Clubs ‘All Together Now’ campaign which has been launched to promote a ‘Football Family for Everyone’ and we will not stop in our mission to drive equality through the positive power of football.

Possession or Use of Pyrotechnics: Everton Football Club does not condone the use of pyrotechnics under any circumstances. Any fan found using them will be subject to action by the Club and Police. Away clubs use various techniques to detect the possession and use of pyrotechnics. Any person found in possession of such items are liable to arrest which could result in a criminal conviction and subsequent football ban.

Concourse Anti-Social Behaviour: In previous seasons there have been instances of small groups of fans becoming involved in anti-social behaviour (beer throwing) within stadium concourses. This results in fellow fans' social activity at half time being ruined by the actions of a small minority. Such action can result in ejection from the stadium or, in the case more serious incidents, an arrest and subsequent football ban.

Please continue to enjoy your match day but we ask that you also consider other supporters and how they will be affected by your behaviour. We would like to thank you for your continued support in protecting Everton Football Clubs reputation and support in enhancing the match day experience for all.
