Warrington Joins Tranmere On Loan

Everton Under-23 midfielder Lewis Warrington has completed a loan move to Tranmere Rovers and will spend the remainder of 2021/22 with the promotion-chasing League Two club.

Warrington, who joined Everton aged six, has made 13 Premier League 2 appearances for David Unsworth’s Under-23 side this term.

The 19-year-old won the Club’s Sir Philip Carter award – presented to the player who showed first-class commitment and achievement in his education while at the Academy – at the 2020/21 Academy Awards.

Warrington joins a Tranmere team that is second in League Two and next in action at home to Stevenage on Tuesday.
