Reports in Wednesday's newspaper claim that Vitor Pereira is now the favourite to become the next Everton manager.

Sky Sports believe that a final decision is yet to be made on the appointment, however, a decision could be made in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Sky Sports also say that Frank Lampard still be in the running for the First-Team vacancy at Goodison Park.

The Mirror, meanwhile, writes a deal with Pereira would be until the end of the season, with an option of a further year.

On transfer news, Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor believes Arsenal will attempt to sign Blues forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer.

This follows a report from The Athletic that an attempt for a move could happen this month, but Taylor expects the Gunners to wait until the summer before looking to open discussions.

Everton are also said to have joined the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Tanguy Ndombele, according to the Daily Express.

The midfielder is said to be close to a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain, however the London side are keen for him to depart on a permanent basis.
