Everton have open discussions with Aston Villa over a move for Anwar El Ghazi, according to the Liverpool Echo.

It is claimed the two clubs are in contact over the sale of Blues left-back Lucas Digne, while also considering if the Dutch winger could move in the opposite direction.

Rafa Benitez is said to be keen on the 26-year-old, with any forthcoming move to Goodison Park to be a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

The Athletic's David Ornstein supports these reports and adds that the option for a permanent transfer is also on the table, with El Ghazi valued in the region of £15million.

With regards to the transfer of Digne, The Guardian claims Villa are close to completing a deal for the France international.

Italian newspaper Il Messaggero has stated that Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri has spoken with Everton midfielder Allan on a move back to Italy this month.

The pair worked together during the Brazilian's stint with Napoli before joining the Blues, with Sarri said to be keen on a reunion with the 31-year-old.
