With the January transfer window just around the corner, transfer speculation is rife in Monday's print and online media.

Starting with the rumoured incomings, a report from Sky Sport Italia claims Everton and Arsenal are interested in Juventus' attacking midfielder Dejan Kulusevski.

The 21-year-old was signed by the Turin giants in a deal worth up to €44 million in the summer of 2019, but are now reportedly open to selling the Sweden international in order to strengthen the squad in other areas.

Elsewhere, Barcelona-based outlet Mundo Deportivo reports the Toffees are leading the race to sign Philippe Coutinho, 29, on loan next month.

It is claimed Newcastle United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on the Brazilian, who formerly worked with Rafa Benitez at Inter Milan.

On to potential outgoings and La Gazzetta dello Sport's Alfredo Pedulla claims there are currently four offers on the table for left-back Lucas Digne, with Inter Milan one of those said to be keen.

On Sky Sports, it is rumoured Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is considering a move for Mason Holgate in a bid to bolster his defence.

And finally, quotes from Blues boss Benitez feature in the Liverpool Echo, as the future of young forward Lewis Dobbin is discussed.

The 18-year-old striker, who has enjoyed a breakthrough season in the First Team under the Spaniard, is out of contract next summer.

But, when asked about the situation, Benitez said: “I think the player is quite happy and our conversations with him have been quite positive.

“I have confidence that he will be delighted to stay with us in the future.”
