Transfer rumours are beginning to gather pace ahead of the upcoming January window.

In The Guardian, it is claimed Everton have agreed a fee of £17.86m with Dynamo Kyiv for left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko and will now "renew efforts" to sign right-back Nathan Patterson from Rangers.

In the Daily Mail, the Blues are linked with a move for Nottingham Forest's young creative midfielder Brennan Johnson.

The 20-year-old is also said to be attracting interest from West Ham United and Brentford - and it is claimed the Championship outfit could sell their player next month if bids reach £20million.

Elsewhere, French outlet Foot Mercato, report that Serie A giants Napoli are interested in signing Lucas Digne.
