Date Set For Everton's FA Youth Cup Fourth-Round Tie

Everton Under-18s’ FA Youth Cup fourth-round tie against Sheffield United will take place on Friday 14 January at Goodison Park (7pm GMT).

The young Blues progressed to this stage of the competition with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Fulham in the third round. Stanley Mills netted a brace and summer signing Francis Okoronkwo was also on target for Paul Tait’s team.

Sheffield United, meanwhile, overcame Millwall in a dramatic penalty shootout at Bramall Lane to book their place in the fourth round.

The Blades compete in the U18 Professional Development League, and are currently in fourth position in the northern section of the division. Everton play in the tier above – the U18 Premier League (North) – and finished the calendar year eighth in the standings.
